Shungite - Flat Stones

This beautiful black stone comes from Russia. There was a meteorite that crashed in Russia many millions of years ago. Some research says the meteorite was billions of years old and it was discovered in the eighteenth century in a field called Zazhoginsko, in the Russian Republic of Karelia. This is the largest deposit of the stone in the world. The town of Shunga is a village in Karelia, so it seems the stone was named after the town, being Shungite. Shunga is still full of Shungite deposits. The stone is carbon and has tremendous healing properties. There is the elite stone, probably 94% carbon or the lessor quality containing 64% carbon. Which they use for jewelry and ornaments. The Russian people have understood for hundreds of years the wonderous healing abilities of the stone. In fact, Peter the Great realized the invigorating benefits of Shungite and established the first ‘spa’ baths for his solders. The properties associated with Shungite are quite remarkable, undeniably so. It has a definite grounding enhancement, lifts one’s energy up while enhancing one’s ability to function with balance. I personally have Shungite pyramids. I keep them on my desk and sometimes when I need an energetic boost, I place one on my forehead (3rd eye) and one on my Thymus gland, allowing the energy to rekindle my exhaustion. In the town of Shunga in Russia, they have healing baths etcetera made from huge pieces of the blessed stone. This is for locals and tourists to soak in and restore. It is most certainly a pick me up stone.
